Alright, so right about the time I decide to come back to DA after my... impromptu hiatus from this place over the last year, I pulled up the first chapter of my story I've been writing so I could post it.  It's not perfect by any means, but I'm kind of proud of it...

The biggest problem I've been having around here has to do with the changes to the submissions policies... it felt somewhat akin to trying to shove an M1 Abrams MBT into a... compact car space.  I had to work on it constantly to get the damn thing to load, and even then I had to hijack an image from one of my OS systems to give it a cover image so the bloody thing would load.

I have to say that I hate this new system... I'm honestly doubting if I will continue loading the rest of the chapters from my story, once they're completed, to DA.  I think I'll stick with FA... at least there I don't have to bend over backwards to load my story.
